Privacy Policy
Effective Nov 2, 2026
This policy covers The Inn at inn.davelively.net, a personal app run by David Lively. Its text message alerts are part of David Lively’s David Lively App Alerts program, whose own Privacy Policy covers them in full.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to that address; there are no passwords.
- What you enter when you ask for a stay: who’s coming, your dates, the room you’d like, and any note you add.
- If you’re a host and sign up for text alerts: your mobile number and a record of your consent and any opt-out, as described in the program’s Privacy Policy.
- Sign-in cookies that keep you signed in, and the routine technical logs the hosting service keeps when the site runs.
How we use it
- To sign you in and run bookings: showing what’s free, and letting the hosts approve, decline or change stays.
- To email you about your own requests and stays.
- To send booking alerts by text to hosts who signed up, and to honor opt-outs.
The name you enter for a stay is shown on the calendar to other invited guests who are signed in. Your email address and phone number are not.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use service providers only to run the site: Amazon Web Services hosts the site and its data and sends its email, and Twilio delivers text messages. They handle information only to provide those services.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text, or turn alerts off on the text alerts page, to stop text messages.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, email support@davelively.net. Consent and opt-out records may be kept as proof of what was agreed.
